WELCOME

Set in country NSW is our delightful old Red Rattler Train awaiting those who like an adventure. Surrounded by nature, Kangaroo's and farm animals on 97 acres of private land. Making it a wonderful haven that's sure to relax your body and mind.

The Space

Hidden amongst the rolling hills of Cargo is our picturesque destination. If you ever wondered what it was like to wake up in the morning with the sounds of wildlife around you then our place is a must. Our train carriage dates back to the "Red Rattler" days with the Sydney train route still there for the eye to view. A steering wheel at the front where the train driver sat makes it a unique experience. New walkways have been built allowing you the opportunity to view the property. Our animals will welcome you and there is an abundance of food available from our vegetable and fruit tree gardens.

Guest Access

Access to our property from Orange NSW is along Coronation drive. Stay on this road until you see Edinboroh Rd turn off. Turn to the left along the dirt road until you see a sign saying McMurrays Lane. Turn right, follow this road until you see a sign at our front gate with the numbers 712. Your there! Keys to our property gate will need to be collected from Bissys Café & Catering Crn Anson and Warrendine street Orange.

DIFFERENT SUBJECTS

You may see Kangaroo's, Echidna's, goats, and other wild animals roaming freely on our property. They have been doing this for a long time now and will not harm you if you leave them alone. We have limited water available onsite so we ask that you are conservative when using water. Please do not light outdoor fires onsite because the chance of it getting away and burning the property is a high fire danger.
Cargo is an old mining town and has a population of about 2,500. There is a local pub which supplies a good meal, a corner store to buy your necessities and a coffee shop. There is a park for children to play in and a lovely picnic area. Cargo is not far from Orange which has now become a food and wine destination. Our café Bissys Cafe is located in Orange on the corner of Warrendine and Anson street and is based on a smaller version of what you see at our property. We grow our own vegetables and herbs and have a food forest.
Our property is a 25 min drive from Orange NSW. There is no public transport to our property, however there is car rental available at Orange if needed. If your wanting to arrive by train, we are able to pick you up and transport you to the property for an additional cost.
